This easy “Egg in Bread Recipe” is a great breakfast idea for children!

  1. Spread butter or margarine on both sides of the bread. Spread butter or margarine on both sides. Cut a fun shape from the middle of each piece of bread using a cookie cutter.
  2. Heat oil in a large, non-stick pan. Add the bread and shapes cut out. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until golden. Crack an egg in the middle of each slice. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the yolk is almost set.
  3. Sprinkle with cheese, and heat just until it melts. Cut out shapes to match each other and serve.
