Weekend breakfast idea: Make a banana and ricotta toasted with passionfruit sauce. Serve this passionfruit recipe with a homemade passionfruit sauce.

Tangy Passionfruit sauce

  1. Place 1/2 cup of water and caster sugar in a pan over low heat. Stir to dissolve the sugar.
  2. Add the sugar and cook for 3 minutes on medium heat.
  3. Stir in the pulp of passionfruit and simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. Cool down

Fruit Toast

  1. Toast the fruit bread until it becomes crisp. Spread each slice of fruit bread with 1-2 teaspoons of ricotta. Top with bananas. Add two tablespoons of passionfruit syrup to the top.
