It’s so delicious! This is a cheater’s risotto. This rice is made from chicken soup, instant white rice, chicken broth, and parmesan. The entire process takes only 10 minutes. Both of us loved the flavors. It’s a good base recipe for you to be creative. Add mushrooms, peas, and chicken to this rice, which becomes a complete meal.

You can use your favorite Cream of Soup or Cream of Mushroom in this recipe. You can also change the cheeses. Use whatever cheeses your family prefers. It was delicious! I used the grated parmesan from the green jar.


  • Can of 10.5-oz cream of chicken soup (98% fat-free).
  • 1 1/2 cups Chicken Broth
  • Instant White Rice, 1 1/2 cups
  • Parmesan cheese, grated (green can or fresh), 1/4 cup
  • Dash freshly ground black Pepper


  • Bring the soup and stock to a rolling boil in a 2-quart pan on medium heat.
  • Stir the cheese and Pepper into the pan. Cover the pan, and turn off the heat.
  • Allow to stand for 5 to 8 minutes until the rice is cooked and most of the liquid has been absorbed.


This recipe is made specifically for Instant White Rice. This recipe will not work if you use any other type of rice. Use any condensed soup you like. You can use cream of celery, chicken, mushroom, or broccoli. You can use any cheese you want. Plain Chicken
